Fixed the code in a hotel product supplier's operating system to reduce errors. Also created new functionality including a purpose-built database, online buyer/supplier manuals, and a repaired Quality Control portal.
MagnusMinds stabilised and extended an ordering platform that had stalled under a previous developer. By designing a database that lets brand hotels purchase from pre-approved product lines, we shortened the buying cycle for customers and gave the client a scalable foundation. The completed system now handles buyer registration, quoting, factory routing, and quality control in one platform.

The Challenge
The client had an ordering platform for customers built by a previous developer that was no longer scaling to meet their needs. The first challenge was fixing the existing code quickly — but after those repairs, additional problems surfaced. The platform needed to allow users to register a buyer account, enter product specifications, and receive a quote. Orders then route to the admin department, which forwards them to one of 100+ contracted factories.
Our Solution
We reviewed the entire system, fixed the existing code issues, and then built a purpose-built database that allows brand hotel customers to shop through specific product lines pre-approved by their brands — shortening the buying process by eliminating the need for stakeholder sign-off before purchase. We created comprehensive online manuals to guide users through buyer and supplier registration, and repaired the Quality Control (QC) portal that is part of their ordering system.
