MagnusMinds built and maintains OpenTrolley — one of Southeast Asia's leading online bookstores. The platform handles 15 million book titles with full-text search and powers business analytics through Power BI and SSRS, supporting the client's expansion across Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia.

The Challenge
OpenTrolley needed to handle full-text search across 15 million book titles with fast response times, move data from multiple Azure-hosted SQL server systems into Power BI dashboards and SSRS reports, and sustain search performance at scale through regular table and index maintenance across an expanding multi-country catalog.
Our Solution
MagnusMinds built the OpenTrolley platform on ASP.NET with SQL Server full-text search powering the massive catalog. Datasets from various systems of record were migrated into Power BI dashboards on Azure and SSRS reports for business analytics. We continuously rebuild tables and indexes as needed to sustain performance. The platform includes customer management, online payment, order history, and cart functionality.
